Appendix C. Alternative Antennas

Occasionally, standard antennas just do not meet the requirements of a particular environment. At times, issues concerning differing coverage areas arise, such as aesthetics or mounting concerns that prohibit some of the more standard type of antennas. This appendix identifies three different types of alternative antennas that you can use (as long as they fall within the legal usage for the regulatory agencies): leaky coax, sectorized panel, and ceiling-tile antennas.
