e multiplexed display scheme consumes substantially less amount of current. However, the overall intensity
or brightness of the display is lower, although within acceptable limit. e basic technique of multiplexed
display scheme is to turn on only one display digit at a time, for a very short duration, say for a few milliseconds.
As this is repeated at a faster rate, like 100 times per second, therefore, for the human eyes, it seems that all
digits are glowing simultaneously.
For example, if we like to display 21.34, then fi rst the leftmost digit with ‘2’ is turned on for 1 millisecond
