Develop the hardware interface and then develop a subroutine to rotate the interfaced stepper motor as per
the content of bit 0 of bit-addressable area of internal RAM of 8051. If the bit is set, then the motor should
rotate clockwise, and if the bit is cleared then the motor should rotate anticlockwise.
Solution
Fig. 22.10 shows the necessary hardware for interfacing the stepper motor with 8051, using transistors, controlled by
P1.0 through P1.3. We assume that the interfacing is such, so that the sequence presented in Table 22.1 is applicable.
