At this point, we have the deformation bones and weights exist. We continue with the approach of working on the central body parts, like the spine or neck, and one side of the limbs. But before we start, I want to go over some general rules that apply to the entire body rigging process.
We are Rigging the “INT” Bones
Once the intermediate set of bones is in place, and the “DEF-” bones are connected to them using Copy Location and Rotation constraints, we will move all the deformation bones to one bone layer and disable its visibility. Unless you need to paint weights, you can forget about deformation bones as they are rigged and ready.
