Arduino with ESP-01 and Android Basic Wireless Framework
THIS CHAPTER DISCUSSES A BASIC wireless framework consisting of an Arduino using an ESP-01 module to provide Wi-Fi capability and an Android cell phone. I start off discussing the general overall framework of the system and how it works. I then cover the Android client source code for the application that serves as the user interface to the wireless network. Next, I discuss the server source code for the Arduino portion of the wireless framework. Finally, I guide the reader through a hands-on example of how to set up and operate the Arduino with ESP-01 and Android basic wireless framework.
