Before considering the concept of knowledge in action, an understanding of some of the foundational theory is probably a good idea. In fact, it may be more than a good idea as we have been involved in too many discussions that seem to have been based on hype and emotions rather than the facts about the subject. We remember one particular development that illustrates this point. The story that follows is based on real events, but we changed it ever so slightly to protect the innocent.
