As a faculty member it is imperative that we regularly assess the academic health of our students, ourselves, and our courses. This chapter is divided into three separate sections covering each of these topics. The chapter begins by discussing techniques to regularly assess student performance. This is followed by a discussion on the assessment of our performance as teachers including a discussion on assessing our course(s).
