It takes a certain business savvy to identify a need in the market and then develop a product that fulfills that need. As photojournalists, we don’t stand to earn a large income based solely on the editorial assignments we bring in, so it’s important to seek supplemental income outside of photojournalism. That’s not to say you’ll need to stray too far.
