After buying into my idea for a book targeted at helping VB6 developers move to VB .NET, Shelley Kronzek, the executive editor, asked me to write a 200-page version of the book in three weeks, which Sams would distribute for free. That book has been handed out to and downloaded by more than 70,000 people, and the number continues to climb every day.
