Overview
Close is the project phase that:
1. Ensures project signoff by the project sponsor and perhaps other stakeholders
2. Recognizes project achievements
3. Archives project artifacts and knowledge
4. Releases team members
5. Closes contracts
Some project teams leave too many loose ends for others to tie up in their eagerness to move on to other projects.
