You Become a Person by Knowing Your Values

Introduction

Working where your values are not compatible with those of the organization puts you in a very uncomfortable, strained position. You must make a choice between keeping a job in which you feel increasingly disconnected from who you are, from your core values, and searching for a new position in which your core values will be in sync with the new organization.

If you surrender your values you end up losing your self-esteem. This progressive discomfort can haunt you every day as you sense your own core values eroding at the workplace. And it is difficult to separate your values at the workplace from those in the rest of your world.
