Working with Text

Text is one of the most important elements you can add to a site. It gives your site a voice that can be used to enlighten, antagonize, humor, or provoke deep thought. At a minimum, text directs—even a photo gallery site can benefit from text describing the images or telling users how to get to the top or bottom of the page. Because text is so crucial, FrontPage offers several methods of formatting and controlling text. Figure 4.1 highlights where these methods are found in FrontPage, which can serve as a roadmap while you read this chapter.
