Detect and Repair

If you are getting errors in Outlook that can't be solved from the information in Appendix C, “Outlook Problems and Solutions,” the next thing you can do is run Detect and Repair. Select Help, Detect and Repair to begin the Outlook repair process. The repair process is self-contained and checks and restores all Outlook components from the installation media if they are corrupted. The process is intelligent enough to restore downloaded updates if any are present instead of the original files from the installation media.
