Working with Tasks
Tasks are chores you have to complete, such as writing a report for work or school, writing a chapter for a book, and mowing the lawn. Just like real tasks, Outlook tasks can be assigned to other people. Of course, the person to whom you assign the task must accept it; otherwise, the task is still your responsibility.
Tasks can recur at regular intervals—for example, paying the rent or mortgage every month before the first day of the following month. You learned about recurring appointments in Chapter 7, “The Calendar,” and setting up recurring tasks is similar to setting up recurring appointments.
