Understanding Import and Export Formats
Outlook can import and export data in a number of different formats and to and from a number of different programs. Some of the import formats may not be available in Outlook unless they are installed as optional components.
Installing Outlook Import Formats
To see which components have been installed, follow steps 1 to 6 in this section. Components that have not been installed are listed as Not Available or Installed on First Use. Appendix A, “Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Installation,” contains instructions for installing all Outlook components, which I recommend.
