Aligning Text

One of the most common formatting tasks is centering a line of text. When you center text on a line, WordPerfect does the math and makes sure that there is an equal amount of space on either side of the text. If you add or remove text, WordPerfect automatically adjusts the position of the text so that it is at the exact center of the page. Flush right is a little less common, but it still has an important place, especially in legal documents. Text that is flush right is aligned against the right margin, so it extends out to the left.
