3.20.4.4 DOA estimation
DOA estimation algorithms can be used as a processing stage prior to beamforming. If the DOAs of the LOS and reflected signals and interferences can be determined, then it is possible to design a beamformer that, for instance, attenuates the reflections and interferences while maximizing the SNR of the LOS signal.
