Strategy for Innovation
Innovation is always a surprise. By definition, it is something no one
has thought of before. Its very existence shows that reality is not fixed
in predictable patterns. Instead, creative new possibilities can emerge
in any field, in any industry. To succeed, we must imagine possibilities
outside of conventional categories, envision actions that cross traditional
boundaries, anticipate repercussions, take advantage of interdependen-
cies, make new connections, or invent new combinations.
