In Chapter 20, you created attractive and useful reports by following a few simple steps. For most of your reporting needs, Access’ default reports will do just fine. Sometimes, however, you want more than the basic report layout. Perhaps you're trying to mimic an existing paper report. Or maybe you're trying to develop a consistent style in your organization that's different than the Access default report.

In this chapter, we show you some advanced techniques for changing the organization of your reports and adding interesting formatting and some tips for avoiding blank reports and working with controls.
