Here are a few speeches you can use to work on. You can also of course find your own; the choice is huge. Some are in prose and some in blank verse, so try one of each. As always I urge you to start reading and memorizing right away, to allow yourself to feel the memorization coming, as it honestly will, out of repeating the rhythm of the words. Again I have intentionally left out any footnotes or synopses, though I did add the act and scene numbers so that you can learn a bit more after you’ve taken them out for a spin (I am guessing that even the playwright himself would not object to you having those).
