Backing Up and Recovering Active Directory
Two of the most critically important tasks you’ll perform as an administrator are backing up and recovering Active Directory Domain Services. To perform backup and recovery, you must install Windows Server Backup, a feature available for servers running Windows Server 2008. When you install this feature using the Add Feature Wizard in Server Manager, you can run Windows Server Backup from the Administrative Tools menu and access the Wbadmin utility at a command prompt.
