As we mentioned, there are no studies that tell us definitively how many abusers there are in the workplace, but the sheer frequency of reported violence indicates that it must be a significant number nationwide. Documented studies of law enforcement and hospital records indicate that there are hundreds of thousands of assaults on victims reported every year. It is obvious that it is not the same handful of abusers committing such acts. Domestic violence has a direct impact on every business that has employees, no matter the gender.

Again, the assumption that men are the abusers and women are victims is not absolute. Women can victimize their male partners just as heinously.
