Chapter 2. Getting Started with Dell EqualLogic Replication
In this chapter you will learn the basics of how to configure replication with Dell EqualLogic. The chapter is not intended to be the definitive last word on all the best practices or caveats associated with the procedures outlined. Instead, it’s intended to be a quick-start guide outlining the minimum requirements for testing and running a Recovery Plan with SRM; for your particular requirements, you should at all times consult further documentation from Dell, and if you have them, your storage teams. Additionally, I’ve chosen to cover configuration of the VMware iSCSI initiator to more closely align the tasks carried out in the storage layer with the ESX host itself.
