Chapter 9. Manipulating Pages

Acrobat 9 provides tools that make it easy to insert, delete, rearrange, and otherwise change the order of pages within a PDF document.

You can get to these features in three ways:

  1. Click the Action button (identified by a gear icon) at the top of the Pages navigation pane (Figure 9.1). Acrobat displays a menu that contains all the page-manipulation commands.

    You have access to Acrobat’s page-manipulation commands in the Pages pane’s Action menu, identified by a gear icon.

  2. Right-click a thumbnail in the Pages navigation pane. The resulting contextual menu is identical to the Action menu described above.
