The 3D Interface
When it comes to working with 3D, After Effects has some options to make your life easier. By having at least one 3D layer in your composition, you’ll see the following options in the lower-right of the Composition panel:
Draft 3D
If your big 3D composition is previewing slowly, toggling Draft 3D can help. Not only does it use a faster, lower-quality render algorithm, but this feature temporarily disables lights, shadows, and camera depth of field.
