Now, let’s get to doing some actual editing within the composition. We’ll start with the three basic transformation tools: position, rotation, and scale.

Changing an Object’s Position

First, we must select a layer.

  • Make sure the Selection tool is selected by pressing V or selecting it from the Toolbar .
  • Select the UFO, either by clicking on it in the composition, or clicking on the Ship layer in the timeline.
