Project Templates

To ensure that your projects are consistent from developer to developer, it’s a good idea to use Themes (see page 180). As you have already seen earlier in this module, themes include professionally designed master slides, object styles, and placeholders that you can quickly apply to an entire project. But to ensure that each new project that you create is set to a specific size and contains specific objects in specific locations, you should create a template. Once you’ve created a template, you can use it when you create each new project. If you use this workflow, the new project looks exactly like the template, ensuring consistency among projects.
