Part IV. Working with Type

IN THIS PART

Part III covered many different types of edits you can apply to objects and images. In Part IV, we deviate from the graphics and concentrate on type. We begin with Chapter 14, where we talk about fonts and overcoming font problems. In Chapter 15, we move on to using type styles, particularly in Adobe InDesign.

In Chapter 16, we discuss text frames and how the common metaphor for type handling is used consistently among several CS applications. This part concludes with Chapter 17, where we talk about using special type characters.
