Chapter Five. Working with Text and Images
Text and images are the basic building blocks of Web sites. Text is easy to add to a Web site; you can create text right in Dreamweaver or easily copy and paste any text from a document or Web page into a Dreamweaver document.
Pictures are more of a challenge. You can’t create images in Dreamweaver or copy and paste images into a Dreamweaver document.
Now for the good news. There is a wide array of image-editing programs—ranging from the one that came with your digital camera or computer operating system to Adobe Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements). Almost all of them can be used to prepare images for the Web.
