Drawing boxes
Now you'll create a rectangular box. You'll use Smart Guides, as you did to create the cylinder, but this time you'll use the Smart Guides angle alignment guides to create precise side panels for the box.
You'll start this part of the lesson by opening a flat view (the box top). You'll use this flat view to create the box sides and then you'll decorate the sides and shear the box panels to construct the box.
1. | Choose File > Open, and open the L12strt2.ai file in the Lesson12 folder, located inside the Lessons folder within the AICIB folder on your hard drive.
