Exporting flat-color artwork
Flat-color artwork with repetitive color and sharp detail, such as line art, logos, or illustrations with type, should be exported to GIF or PNG-8 format. Flat-color artwork appears best on the Web without any dithering—mixing colors to approximate those not present in the palette. To prevent computers from dithering colors, use Web-safe colors in your artwork.
In this part of the lesson, you'll prepare the artwork to be exported in the GIF format.
