Text and object formatting can be stored and rapidly applied with styles. No matter how intricate or complex the formatting, it is usually no more difficult than a single click to apply it—provided you’ve created a style for it. This chapter gets into the how (and why) of styles. In this author’s opinion, not using styles is not using InDesign.
