THE FOUNDATIONS OF almost every topic in this book are related to paragraph and character styles. Not all InDesign styles are text related, but even those that aren’t (object styles, table and cell styles) include text style options among their attributes.

Styles are the easiest and fastest way to process and format text in any project. More than 50 distinct kinds of formatting can be applied at the paragraph level.
