When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
White Balance, Temperature, and Tint
These three settings affect the overall color of a photo, adjusting for the quality of the existing light by, for example, warming up overcast scenes or counteracting the color cast created by fluorescent bulbs. Often the easiest correction is to choose a White Balance preset.
1. Tap the Develop button (second from left at the bottom of the screen) to reveal the controls.
2. Tap the White Balance button to view the presets.
3. Choose a preset to apply the change.
One of the options is Pick, which presents a loupe for you to identify a neutral tone on which to base the photo’s white point. As you drag, the color at the center of the reticle appears around the inside of the loupe; when you let go, you’ll see ...
