Textures can truly transform any common object into something entirely new, such as ordinary hands into elemental tree hands. For Growth I applied a plethora of textures from jungles and forests I’ve visited over the years to my hands, mixed in some aerial pictures I shot while flying above the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and blended it all with masking, color correction, and Curves.
