Adobe Photoshop lets you isolate a complex object or tonal range with far more precision than the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic local adjustment tools. Indeed, you can tell Photoshop exactly which part of an image you want to tinker with by making a selection. With a selection, you can use masking to hide the selected area and replace it with another image or restrict an adjustment to it. This lets you swap backgrounds, change an object’s color, fill an area with a color or pattern, create scenes that don’t exist in real life, and a whole lot more. In this lesson you’ll learn how to:
