Photoshop lets you isolate a complex object or tonal range with far more precision than Lightroom’s local adjustment tools. Indeed, you can tell Photoshop exactly which part of an image you want to tinker with by making a selection. With a selection, you can use masking to hide the selected area and replace it with another image or restrict an adjustment to it.
