Healing Brush
The Healing Brush works using the same general concepts as the Patch tool. It attempts to patch a defect in the image by using the texture from another area and blending all the edges with the surrounding colors. The main difference between the two tools is that the Patch tool works by moving a selection, whereas the Healing Brush allows you to paint over the area that needs to be repaired.
To use the Healing Brush, Option/Alt-click the area you want to use (Figure 11.20), usually a part of the skin or surface that’s free of blemishes, and then click and drag it onto the area that needs fixing (Figure 11.21).
