Making Local Adjustments

Using the Adjustment Brush Tool

The Adjustment Brush tool (K) is used to selectively apply one or all of seven different Develop settings and a color tint to the part of an image defined by a mask. Wow, that one sentence covers a lot of pasture, so let’s break it down into smaller parts.

Up until Lightroom 2, the Exposure, Brightness, Contrast, Clarity, and Sharpness settings could only be applied to the entire image.
