Chapter 15. Recording a Voiceover

Whether you are creating a commercial for broadcast or a family vacation video, voiceover narration can add a substantial amount of context and information to your piece.

This chapter will walk you through setting up your project for recording a voiceover, properly setting your input levels, arranging your sequence to better suit a recording environment, and the actual recording itself. In the next chapter, you edit your voiceover, cut it up, add subtle transitions, and remove unwanted breaths. For both these lessons, you’ll add a voiceover file to the Saleen sample project that came with Premiere Pro.
