Even when you think the movie is done, guess what? It’s probably not. Yeah, the movie looks great when you’re playing it through Premiere Pro, but you need to cut the cord and let it stand on its own as a self-playing movie. But before taking that important step, some quality control is required on your part. Here’s a situation where less is not more.
You’ve already worn a few imaginary hats while making your movie, so let’s add one more. Maybe it’s blue or green or purple — it doesn’t matter, it’s ceremonial. All that matters is that you’re the quality control monitor of your movie. Paying attention to imperfections now can save you a lot of work later. One or two blemishes may not be a big deal, but when grouped together, a bunch of tiny imperfections begin to cast a bigger shadow over your work, and not the good kind.
