I think about adjusting color in two phases: color correction, which makes disparate video clips match one another, and color grading, the process of adding beauty or “feel” to a scene’s color. In this chapter, we’ll look at both, exploring Premiere’s powerful Lumetri effect.
Working Within the Multi-Cam Timeline
Remember the clip we’re working with is called a Multi-Camera Source Sequence. The source of this clip is a sequence. By adding effects to clips within this sequence, they’ll affect all instances of the clip. This way, we can add a color effect to each camera source, instead of the multiple clips that we’ve cut. Think of it as a fancy nested sequence.
