The Spry Tooltip widget can include images, text, or any other content.
Use Spry Tooltips wherever you want to display additional, optional information.
To add a Spry Tooltip widget to your page, follow these steps:
1. Select the page element where you’d like your tooltip to display when the user hovers his
mouse over it.
2. From the Insert panel’s Spry or Layout category, choose Spry Tooltip Bar. The default tooltip
panel is inserted into the page and the custom Property inspector (see Figure 17-34) displays.
3. To define the tooltip, modify the contents of the Spry Tooltip region, now placed at the bot-
tom of the page.
4. If your want the tooltip to appear to be attached to the visitor’s mouse, choose the Follow
Mouse option.
5. To keep the tooltip open whether it is above the triggering element or the tooltip itself,
choose the Hide On Mouse Out option. Without this option selected, the tooltip closes
when the mouse moves away from the triggering element only.
