T
he Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Bible companion Web site, www.wiley
.com/go/dreamweavercs4bible
, contains the following:
Code examples used in the book.
■■
Interactive simulations of each Dreamweaver Technique found in
■■
the book, created with Adobe Captivate.
A vast array of Dreamweaver extensions from the leaders in the
■■
Dreamweaver community, designed to make your work more pro-
ductive. The types of extensions include behaviors, server behav-
iors, objects, commands, and inspectors.
Two bonus chapters for advanced Dreamweaver exploration:
■■
“Creating and Using Objects” and “Creating a Behavior.”
Visiting the Book’s Web Site
The Web site contains files that run on more than one computer platform—
in this case, both Windows and Macintosh computers.
In the Configuration folder, the file structure replicates the structure that
Dreamweaver sets up when it is installed. For example, objects found in
the [drive]\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\
Objects (/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS4/Configuration/Objects)
folder should be in that location for both the Web site and the installed pro-
gram. One slight variation: In the Additional Extensions folder, you’ll find
the various behaviors, objects, and so on, filed under the author’s name.
