Chapter 9: Using the Messaging Service
The Messaging Service expands the core messaging framework to add support for publish-subscribe messaging
among multiple Flex clients through the BlazeDS server. A Flex application uses the client-side messaging API to
send messages to, and receive messages from, a destination defined by the server. Messages are sent over a channel
and processed by a server endpoint, both of which are protocol-specific.
The Messaging Service also supports bridging to JMS topics and queues on an embedded or external JMS server by
