Advanced consulting requires a different approach than “normal” consulting. Although it’s unfair to characterize all standard consulting this way, for the sake of contrast the goal of standard consulting is to get in and get out quickly, often applying a prescribed model or template, thereby making the most money possible in the shortest time while still fulfilling contractual obligations.
