Using Tables to Create Page Layout
Tables are usually the simplest solution to creating a complex page layout, because they allow you to place text, graphics, and even other tables side-by-side without the need for complex positioning settings or section breaks. For example, the layout for the pitch book page shown here is accomplished with a simple table of five rows by three columns, as you can see with table gridlines visible in the second image.
