Trust-enhancing technologies: Blockchain mathematics in the context of Industry 4.0

Abstract
Studying how traditional cybersecurity assumptions, models, and frameworks are affected and changed in the future, Industry 4.0 revolution is a pending challenge. In particular, the traditional idea of “security” is not enough, and some new concepts such as trust or privacy must be considered. These new mechanisms are supported by technologies such as Blockchain, where behavior is stochastic, instead of deterministic as in standard security solutions based, for example, in rules.
