So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a Coaching Culture
The practice of executive coaching can be used to help establish a culture of feedback and coaching in organizations. A coaching culture is one where feedback is shared openly among members of work groups, teams, and organizations to improve or sustain high performance. In organizations that have well-developed coaching cultures, feedback flows fairly freely across levels and divisions with a goal of continuous process improvement. These organizations have invested time and training to prepare their members to give feedback effectively and receive it in an open, nondefensive manner.
