DEFINITION OF TERMS AND PLAN OF ACTION

This document is published on behalf of the Working Committee (repre-senting Advertisers, Agents, and Media Owners) set up to devise a voluntary scheme for the limitation of advertising as a substitute for the tax proposals made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the Autumn Budget, 1947.

All recipients are earnestly requested to study and endorse the Plan, and, without delay, to sign and return the appropriate undertaking on page five or six. A copy of this undertaking is provided for record purposes.
